Design Pointe is a new upscale 160,000 square-foot retail center with a home design focus situated in the affluent Chicago suburb of Naperville.
The center is located on Route 59 and Brookdale Drive with easy access from I-88.
Anchored by Thomasville Furniture and featuring more than 20 upscale home design boutiques and specialty stores, Design Pointe will host their Grand Weekend festivities on August 2-3 (Saturday, 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Sunday, noon to 3:00 p.m.)
Demonstrations on various aspects of home décor, along with free entertainment, food, and giveaways will mark their Grand Weekend.
Home décor demonstrations include paint “roll-outs,” floor covering stain challenges, window treatment displays, garage door installations, and demos of room planning software.
Family entertainment includes Dixieland banjo music, a live classic rock concert, street performers, kids’ activities and train rides, prize wheels, and free goodie bags for the first 500 shoppers to visit the Courtesy Station near the fountain.
There will also be free Chicago style hot dogs and popcorn, and the chance to win a $1,000 shopping spree.
Besides Thomasville Furniture, Design Pointe is home to Artavo Galleries, AV Overhead Garage Door, Caribou Coffee, Closet Factory, The Curtain Exchange, DOTI, FaceLogic Essential Skin Care & Spa, Garage Store, JC Licht Co., Luna Flooring Gallery, Prairie Loft Furniture, Rug Décor, and Studio 41.
Opening soon will be Boss Home Improvement and JP Morgan Chase.

11:00 a.m. – The first 500 shoppers at the Courtesy Station beginning at 11:00 a.m. receive a free gift bag (located near the fountain).

SUNDAY, AUG. 3
