Perchance

Chicago is home to many stylish boutiques, but none manage to blend the current trends with classic elegance quite like Lakeview’s latest arrival, Perchance.

Drawing inspiration from Hitchcock’s glamorous blondes, and decorated in crisp black and white topped off (literally) with black crystal chandeliers, this spacious shop carries a variety of local labels and big names, such as Cynthia Steffe, Blake Standard, Alice + Olivia, Diane Von Furstenburg, and Rafe handbags and footwear.

Perchance is particularly outstanding in the footwear department, where styles range freely from Italian leather boots and sexy pumps to embellished flat sandals.   

Some current standout pieces include tailored spring jackets, perfectly cut trousers by Alice + Olivia, and a selection of chic cocktail dresses in saturated shades of blue, green, and orange.  This is in addition to the regular stock of delicate jewelry by Chicago jeweler Susanne Siegel, striking metallic clutches, and an assortment of Wolford tights, stockings, and apparel. 

Furthermore, Perchance hosts plenty of trunk shows, special sales, and other exclusive events, making this new boutique a definite bright spot on the Southport landscape.
